Overview
NoteNimbus is a native note-taking app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. This page explains what information we collect when you visit notenimbus.com or use the app, and how it’s handled.
Your notes
NoteNimbus stores your notes locally on your device (Mac, iPhone, or iPad) by default. If you enable iCloud sync, your notes are synced through your own iCloud account under Apple’s privacy terms — we never see, store, or have access to your note content on our servers.
Website data
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and performance purposes. We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall site traffic — this data is aggregated and not used to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies required for basic functionality, such as remembering your cookie consent preference. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Third parties
We don’t sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. If you choose to sync notes via iCloud, that data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can turn off iCloud sync at any time in NoteNimbus’s settings on any of your devices, and your notes will remain stored locally on that device only. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored notes from that device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
